Kare® provides 3.5" patented dual density cushion, medical grade open cell foam. Two layer construction permits different sized users to rest into contour for better pressure dispersion, second layer foam is designed to greatly reduce pelvic titling which relieves discomfort of the hips, legs, and spine.

Kare® has discontinued using a aluminum structure base because it caused customer problems when plastic cover cracked or was deeply scratched. We have been using a uni-body nylon base that will handle over 3000 lbs. of force and hides scratches and heavy use.Upholstery

Kare® uses a Grade One/A Rated Fabric, rub tested to 250,000 with upgraded fabric to 750,000 rubs, over 100 fabrics available. All fabric provide soil and stain resistance with Teflon woven into fabric or Scotchgard treatment.

Kare® offers a molded type of back and a fabric covered back which helps to protect the chair from scratching and provides a more professional office presentation.

Meets California Flammability code 117 and BIFMA F-1-1978. Kare® meets these standards, plus Flammability CS 191-5. Optional upholstery to meet CA TB 155 codes for public occupancies.

Kare® uses a wider base (27") for extra stability when adjustable seat depth is fully extended. We tested a base that was 25 1/2" on other manufacturers chairs and found that when a user sat in the middle of the chair and pulled the chair forward to work area that the chair had a tendency to tip over. Our base does not tip over because of the extra stability the wide base adds.

Optional 4" cylinder available for shorter users, lowers chair 1.5". or cylinder for taller users.
