The concept of using a sit stand desk is to be able to change from sitting to standing work postures. And, the most important ergonomic principal is to be in a neutral posture. In other words, your shoulders are not flexed up to your ears and your feet are not dangling as they try to reach the floor. Why you may ask?...well all those awkward postures require your muscles to flex just to hold that awkward posture. And it becomes an issue because sooner or later those muscles are going to give out. And that is uncomfortable. So, it is important that a sit stand desk provides a height range so when sitting or standing you are in a comfortable neutral posture based on your height.
