Desk Shipping Information for Direct Ship Customers

 


All desks require DOCK DELIVERY. Additional Delivery Options: · Inside Delivery: If you require inside delivery, please contact Kare Products for a quote. · Inside Delivery and Installation: Please contact Kare Products for a quote. · White Glove Delivery Service: If you would like the product delivered, installed and packaging carted away, please contact Kare Products for a quote. · There will be additional charges for services listed above.

 
Electric Sit-Stand Desks/LAN Furniture/Economy Desks
 

· Furniture will arrive in boxes via freight. · Product will ship in approximately 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 weeks.

 


Receiving: · Verify that you have the correct number of boxes matching the total number of boxes on the packing list and the freight bill of lading from the carrier. · Determine that the part numbers listed on the packing list agree to what you received. · Inspect for any damage to boxes. This may include any kind of marks on boxes, crinkled corners, etc. · If there is damage to any of the boxes or there are missing boxes, you must note this on the bill of lading. Be as specific as possible. Keep a copy of the freight bill of lading. Notify Kare Products within 48-hours so we may assist you. · Most important: If you do not open boxes immediately, note any sign of damage on the freight bill. Notify Kare Products within 48-hours so we may assist you.

 
Fixed, Notched or Crank Desks and Furniture
 

Shipping Information: · Desk manufacturing is a 30-38-day process. · Desks will be shipped via carrier: Mayfair or United Van Lines. · We can notify you the day furniture leaves the plant and is picked up by the carrier. Furniture will be delivered in approximately 3-7 weekdays. · If delivery by freight, driver will call 24-hours in advance to notify you of expected delivery time. · All furniture is blanket wrapped, not boxed.

 


Receiving: · It is recommended that: · You have two people available to receive and check in product. · You use carpet or moving quilt to protect the desks and legs when you lay them down and start stacking them up. · You have an area in the dock to place the furniture you are receiving. · You verify that you have the correct number of parts matching the total number of parts on the packing list and freight bill of lading from carrier. · Each desk and related components are color-coded. The top of the packing list for each desk will be color-coded for easy sorting. Keep all colors together for easy sorting while you check off the pieces as they come off the truck.

· The packing list designates each leg separate. The legs come in a package of two (right and left legs). The legs are listed as two separate items on the packing list. · Stretcher rail for the crank desks arrives with a drive shaft inside. It is on the packing list as two items. · To determine if there are any missing parts: · Make sure part numbers match the packing list part numbers. · Inspect for any damage to furniture. This may include any kind of marks on desks, crinkled corners, scratched paint, etc. · If there is damage to any of the furniture or there are missing parts, please note on the freight bill of lading.
