The Diffrient Task Light features an asymmetric shade design, which directs light forward from the lamp head in such a way as to minimize glare and optimize illumination. For perfect task lighting the shade can be rotated to redirect the light as desired and the head of the light can be rotated forward or back 180° for additional lighting flexibility. It is useful for all general desktop task lighting needs. Green and Energy Efficient: Diffrient Task Light is made predominantly of aluminum, and contains up to 90% recycled and recyclable material (63% post-consumer, 27% post-industrial). Its 26W bulb uses one-fourth the energy and has a life of more than six times that of a comparable (100W) incandescent bulbs. Task lights can lower the ambient lighting requirements for additional energy savings, while the cool light source reduces air conditioning requirements.
