Computer Vision Syndrome

 

Computer Vision Syndrome is a term used to identify eye fatigue caused by prolonged view of the computer monitor. There is interesting research showing how the position of the monitor height and distance, glare and focal point are causing cumulative trauma to the eyes. Reduce glare by adjusting the shades on your windows, use a Kare Glare Screen or reduce the amount of light. You may find that by removing a light in the overhead light fixture is helpful

 

Adjust the contrast and brightness of your screen. Also adjust the refresh rate on your monitor to more than 60 Hz. You can find this setting in your control panel-displays- advance settings.
